When more than two VP-II Ms are required to operate
together, a VP-II NCU (Network Control Unit) is required.
NCU ties up multiple VP-II Ms and enables sharing of
user and system information in real time. When an NCU
is installed, all VP-II products in the network are
working as a single system. Users are required to be
enrolled only once on any of the VP-II Ms in the network.
Based on the scale of the VP-II network, customers may
choose from 2 and 6-port NCU. Up to 3 VP-II Ms can be
connected to each port. Thus, a 6-port NCU supports
up to 18 Ms. If more than 18 Ms need to be deployed,
multiple NCUs may be utilise.
